Everybody says they want a six-figure cleaning business. But when you ask them what that actually looks like week to week, most people can’t tell you. So let’s make it simple.

The math: 5 cleans a week at $400

Here’s the formula I share in the video. If you’re a solo cleaner and you book 5 cleans a week at a $400 average ticket, that’s $2,000 a week. Work about 50 weeks a year and you’re right around $100,000 in revenue.

That’s it. Not 30 houses a week. Not running yourself into the ground. Five good jobs, priced right.

How do you get to a $400 average ticket?

A $400 average doesn’t mean every single job is $400. It means your mix of work averages out there. A few ways to raise your average:

• Offer deep cleans and move-in/move-out cleans. These are bigger jobs, and they’re priced like it.
• Go after larger homes and recurring clients who want the whole house done, not just a quick pick-up.
• Add commercial or specialty work like office cleaning, Airbnb turnovers, or post-construction cleanups.
• Stop discounting to win the job. The clients who only want the lowest price are rarely the ones who stick around.

Revenue isn’t the same as profit

Keep it real with yourself: $100K in revenue isn’t $100K in your pocket. Supplies, gas, insurance, and taxes all come out of that number. That’s why tracking your numbers matters so much, and why your pricing has to cover your costs and pay you well.
